This steep slope tile roofing project at Wo International Center located on the Punahou campus was in a high traffic, high visibility area.
It included the total tear off of an existing roof system and installation of a tile roof. Access to the building was not easy and the presence of students and faculty made it difficult to bring any type of crane nearby for loading and unloading – thus all loading and unloading was done by hand.
Project scope including the removal of the existing tile roof, underlayment, nailer, metal flashing and haul away off premises.
Tiles were individually installed to the wire system. New copper valleys and wall flashings were installed along with the drip-edge flashing.
